How it all started...
Fresh Start Community Church began as Moore First Church of God. The first church group met in a house and then in the JV hall in located in downtown Moore. The church came into existence to reach the people of Moore and the surrounding area for Jesus. Finally, the funds were raised to open the original building on Century Drive.
By the 90's, a gym had been built, a new campus located on Eastern Avenue, and the church had become an essential part of the community and neighborhood.

Expanding the vision...
Fresh Start has grown into a place where the community is welcome. Our Celebrate Recovery program is now in its 21st year, our food pantry serves families in our community monthly, our buildings are used for various community events, and most importantly we haven't lost sight of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ through services, supporting missionaries, and making sure we are open to Kingdom Opportunities.
Where we are headed...
The future is bright at Fresh Start! We are in the process of preparing to build a new building for our FS Kids, Youth, and Food Pantry. We are also working towards our goal of tithing back more of all proceeds to the mission field. New programs like Pickle ball and Equip classes help both the spiritual and physical needs of our church body. Truthfully, we are heading wherever God leads and we would love to have you come alongside us as we seek His wisdom and guidance on this journey. Come see what God has in store for Fresh Start!
